OMG!! That was so much fun.
Besides my roomie wanting to have 3am discussions I had loads of fun. I got to meet almost all my favorite authors and some new faves too. Got to know a few of them ok. MaryJanice Davidson is a little on the kooky side. Dakota Cassidy is a nice lady, very outgoing and a striking beauty too. Michele Bardsley is cool also, coicidentally was the first person I really wanted to meet there anyway. The second person was JR Ward. She is so darn skinny. It makes me want to hate skinny women. LOL. But really, she is a character. She kinda reminded me of a shark. NO really, she had to walk around all the time. Its like if she stopped she would die.
I also met a new author, her name is Taige Crenshaw. She writes for the Ellora's Cave group. She is an awesome lady and very friendly. (Really Really KEWL!!) Her and her friend hung out with me it was great.
Well I took lots of pictures and forgot to take some of me all dolled up. But of course I got some of the CAvemen. And I got a few here and there of others, like the guy with the long, REALLY LONG blonde hair. I never got his name but a photo of him ended up in my bag that said "A gift to you from Jar". I was like WHAT!@@#$ who the hell is this guy to think I want his picture.
But I digress, I won a couple of gift baskets and got loads of swag and books. I think that next time I go I will need to rent a van to take stuff back home. NO MORE SHIPPING!!! FEDEX was like $200.00 for shipping. I could save that on gas driving and renting a hybrid or something.
Oh well.
Next time...
Your descriptions amuse me. Keep it up. I'm so glad that I'm not the only oddball biblioholic with a book a day habit. I don't feel like such a freak now. 8-}
